There’s been such a lovely creative, friendly and warm atmosphere at our winter wreath making workshops over the past couple of weeks. HUGE THANKS to everyone who came along – you all made absolutely stunning creations.
It’s so wonderful seeing how different everyone’s wreaths are, it’s great that people are drawn to different plants and combine things in so many ways. We set out lots of resources and everyone was so focused and busy, so many great ideas were going back and forth.
The wreaths are all made with willow and foliage which we have gathered from the community gardens and from the gardens of staff and our families – the only bought items were the oranges (which we dehydrated at the gardens). Everything is compostable, it’s great being able to make festive decorations that feel very kind to the planet.
These sessions are always popular and book up fast – we’ve also had wreath making kits available too which have been popular again.
We’ve got lots more workshops and events coming up in 2023, we look forward to seeing you soon.
