HUGE THANKS to everyone who came along to our Summer Event, it’s been wonderful to see you all. HUGE THANKS also to everyone involved in making the event happen and helping with everything. It always feels so special when the community gardens is full of people enjoying the space.
It’s was a really sunny day but we found quite a lot of shade; it’s so lovely seeing people exploring the gardens, chatting, listening to music, sharing food, playing games, sharing stories, exploring the children’s area (some great water runs and sand pies were made today), browsing the fruit & veg and enjoying being outside in the gardens.
We really look forward to seeing you again soon; our next event is September 3rd, but we’ve got several other workshops, activities, weekly sessions and more between now and then. We’ll keep things updated here on Facebook and on our website. You can drop in any time that the gardens is open – you’re always welcome to bring a picnic to sit and enjoy some calm time surrounded by nature.
