Spring is fully underway here at the community gardens.   The pond has been full of frogs for the last 3 weeks  (and now is full of frogspawn), birds are singing from the hedgerows, bees and butterflies are appearing.   We have many seedlings growing away in the polytunnel and other very young plants being hardened off in the cold frames outside.    The gardens is full of spring flowers and the fruit trees are covered in blossom.
