Muck shovelling time!
Our lovely farmer friend, Jonathan expertly and accurately dumped about 10 tons of well rotted and odourless lovely, lovely manure just inside our gates on January 9th – and our fab team of Tuesday volunteers made a real dent in it, tirelessly barrowing it onto the garden in the winter sunshine that afternoon. We think we got about a fifth/quarter moved on that first day – WHAT A GREAT EFFORT!
And. just 4 days later – all of a sudden the pile was gone!
Massive thanks to everyone who helped us move the 10-12 tons of manure! It’s hard work and it was really cold all week so THANK YOU ALL for the amazing effort, we really couldn’t have done it without you.
