As 2023 gets underway we are busy planning lots of activities, events and workshops for the Community Gardens over the coming year.

We will add new things to the calendar all the time, our Facebook page is usually the best place to get the latest dates and information.   You can also check the Whats On section of our website.

As well as our regular weekly sessions, coming up really soon we’ve got:

Drumming and singing sessions for young children and their families, with LW Arts.  Fridays between January 6th and March 3rd,  1.30-2.30pm,  FREE sessions, funded by the National Lottery Community Fund.

Fruit tree pruning talk / demonstration with Marc Richmond, Saturday January 14th 10-12.30  contact the gardens to book.

Wassail – extended family session celebrations on Saturday January 14th 2023, join us for warming food, music and costumes around our orchard area.

Pop up café, in partnership with Green Meadows, Saturday January 21st 1-3pm. 

Lantern making sessions will also be happening towards Light Night which takes place in February 2023.

Big Garden Birdwatch, Saturday January 28th 2023.

Light Night at the Community Gardens, Saturday February 4th 2023, 6-8pm

There will also be community planting sessions around The Meadows, our summer and autumn events, lots of workshops making things with natural materials, lots of opportunities to make and share food outside and much more.
