I started here as an apprentice 10 years ago and have come and gone a few times but always come home to the gardens.

I’m a community gardener, I joined the team in the summer of 2022.

I’m Claire, I work part time at the Community Gardens running events and activities, especially the Saturday Family Sessions (which run throughout the year in all weathers). I really value opportunities for people of all ages to engage with the natural world, especially through creativity, curiosity, play, sharing food and through activities that bring people together. Outside of my work at AMC Gardens I run forest school, outdoor education / creative sessions with many different community groups.
