We’ve been really busy getting ready for our Light Night event – which included a wonderful time making lanterns on Sunday January 29th. Huge thanks to everyone who came along, everyone made fantastic creations and they’re going to look brilliant lit up.
The lovely ArtSpeak group who meet every Friday at the gardens have been busy making lanterns too and they’ve also done a fantastic job. It’s really exciting seeing everything emerge.
Our Light Night event is Saturday, February 4th, 6-8pm. You can drop in anytime between 6 and 8pm, wrap up warm as we’ll be outside and in the poly tunnel. There will be lanterns, lights, shadow puppets, projections and music. We’ll have hot food and drinks available (there’ll be a small cost for food if you’d like some). We really look forward to seeing everyone, the community gardens looks very magical lit up!
