We took delivery of about 10 tons of lovely well-rotted (ie not smelly!) manure earlier in January, it’s a vital part of our no dig organic gardening methods here at the Community Gardens.

Our wonderful volunteers did an amazing job of moving it all onto our growing circle and around the various other beds and fruit trees around the gardens.  The pile got smaller and smaller – and then was all used up!    The growing beds are now full of wonderful muck to fertilise our vegetables this year…fantastic!
