Dolma ( Stuffed vine leaves)
- 1 cup of rice
- Half a cup of mince meat
- Half a cup of chopped dill
- 3 cloves of chopped garlic
- 4 big spoons of oil
- 1 big spoon of tomato puree
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- Half a teaspoon of black pepper
- Half a teaspoon of citric acid
- 25 vine leaves
1.Wash the rice in a big bowl and pour the water out.
2.Add minced meat, chopped dill, chopped garlic, oil, tomato puree, salt, black pepper and citric acid all into the bowl.
3.Mix the ingredients together properly.
4.Get a cooking pot and pour a little bit of oil in the pot.
5.Stuff the vine leaves with the rice mixture and wrap the vine leaves around it.
6.When you have wrapped all the vine leaves put them in the pot neatly.
7.Pour 2 and a half cups of warm water into the pot and put the pot on the cooker.
8.Keep the pot on a low standard and leave it to boil for 30 minutes, cover the pot with a lid.
9.When it is ready get a plate (bigger than the pot) remove the lid and put the plate on, turn the pot upside down (still holding onto the plate) put the plate on a flat surface and gently remove the pot.
10.This can be served for 4 to 5 people now you can enjoy your dolma!
